Berth 201#, 202# and 203# in Xianren Island Port Area of Yingkou Port passed acceptance smoothly

On May 15, Liaoning Provincial Department of Commerce (Port Office) organized Dalian Customs, Liaoning Entry-Exit Border Inspection General Station, Liaoning Maritime Safety Administration and Liao Port Group and other port related units to hold a meeting on the acceptance of new foreign berths within the open scope of Yingkou Port Xianren Island Port Area, marking that the existing berths in Yingkou Port Xianren Island Port area should be fully opened to the outside world.

This is the first batch of new foreign berths for customs clearance and acceptance in our province in recent years. After the acceptance of Yingkou Port, 66 berths are open to the outside world. As an important part of Yingkou Port, Xianren Island Port area applies for opening three berths, with a total length of 800 meters and customs supervision space behind the berths, covering an area of about 360,000 square meters. The inspection team inspected the three 50,000-ton multi-purpose berths on site, inspected the port inspection site and related supporting facilities, and believed that the port infrastructure and supporting facilities met the needs of the inspection work and met the national port acceptance infrastructure construction standards, and agreed that the 201#, 202# and 203# berths of Xianren Island Port area of Yingkou Port passed the formal acceptance.

Liu Weijie, vice Minister of production Department of Liaoning Port Co., LTD., said that three berths in Xianren Island Port area were successfully opened, and the Spanish Spanish Circle Port area will move the magnesium, water slag and raw sugar to Xianren Island Port area, with a traffic volume of about 2 million tons, which will help ease the pressure of ships in Bayuquan Port area, reduce the waiting time of ships, and improve the turnover efficiency of ships' cargo. Reducing the logistics costs of cargo owners also brings real benefits to the throughput growth and efficiency growth of the port, and helps the high-quality development of the port.
