       On July 30, 2024, in order to promote the development of enterprise compliance and optimize the trade environment, Bayuquan Customs held a proactive disclosure policy enterprise publicity event, and our company was honored to participate in it.

       The presentation attracted the participation of many business representatives from various industries, and the atmosphere was warm. The relevant person in charge of the customs explained in detail the connotation, scope of application and preferential measures that enterprises can enjoy.

       At the event site, the person in charge of the customs pointed out that the active disclosure policy of the Customs is a fault-tolerant mechanism. If an import and export enterprise or unit finds that it underpays or fails to pay taxes or violates other customs regulations in its import and export activities through self-inspection, it shall take the initiative to report to the Customs in writing and accept the Customs handling, and the Customs shall give a lighter, mitigated or no administrative penalty according to law. This policy not only provides enterprises with the opportunity to correct mistakes and reduce penalties, but also helps to establish an enterprise integrity management system and enhance the competitiveness of enterprises in international trade. In order to allow enterprises to understand the policy more intuitively, the customs also listed a number of actual cases for analysis, and explained the operational process and precautions of active disclosure in a simple way. At the same time, the on-site question and answer session was set up, and the customs staff gave professional and detailed answers to various questions raised by the representatives of the enterprises.

       Through participating in this presentation, our company deeply understood that the active disclosure policy is not only an innovative measure for customs to optimize supervision and improve law enforcement efficiency, but also an important way for enterprises to self-correct mistakes and enjoy preferential treatment such as lenient punishment. In the interaction and exchange session, our representatives actively asked questions and had an in-depth discussion with the customs staff on the difficulties and puzzles in actual operation. The customs staff gave professional, detailed and targeted answers, which provided clear direction and strong support for our subsequent compliance work.
